This was painted on location at Edgewood Orchard Gallery in Fish Creek, Wisconsin, during the 2011 Door County Plein Air Festival. This is a little pump house on the property nestled between the trees, hydrangeas and lilies. The light and shadow patterns were lovely, and I was able to stand in the shade to paint this (it was unseasonably hot that day!).
